Affiliate Disclosure

How affiliate links work

Some future Shelf & Counter content may contain affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you.

Current affiliate status

Shelf & Counter does not currently use active affiliate links and has not yet joined the Amazon Associates Program. This page will be updated before affiliate links are added to the website.

How we disclose affiliate content

When affiliate links become active, qualifying articles and other promotional content will include a clear disclosure near the recommendation or link. We will not rely on this page alone to disclose an affiliate relationship.

Amazon Associates

If Shelf & Counter is accepted into the Amazon Associates Program, the website will display the required statement: “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”

Editorial independence

Affiliate availability does not determine whether a product or method is worth discussing. We aim to explain the problem a product may solve, who it may suit, and the limitations or tradeoffs readers should consider. We do not claim firsthand testing unless it actually occurred.

Third-party retailers

Prices, availability, product details, and retailer terms can change. Any purchase is made directly from the third-party retailer and is subject to that retailer’s policies, terms, and privacy practices.
